Arriving by plane

If you do not want to take a taxi, you can use public transport from the airport to the city of Vienna: There are two train connections from the Airport: the normal railway (RSB2, Wolfsthal > Vienna Airport > Vienna), which runs approximately every 30 min and which takes 19 min. The second option is the City Airport Train (CAT), which takes about 16 min. You have to get off at the station "Wien Mitte". Form there you have to take the subway U4 (direction to Heiligenstadt) and get off at "Schottenring". Then you take the subway U2 - one station to "Schottentor". From there you can take one of the trams (37, 38, 40, 41 or 42) - just one station and get out at "Schwarzspanierstraße".
